Vive Controller Input Not Working Questions Answers Unity Discussions The controllers are visible in play mode and i have a raycast script on them that is working to point at things, but i am not able to register any button presses. The input system can't detect inputs coming through steamvr. for unity to be able to read these inputs there needs to be a script implemented in the project that uses valve.vr inputsystem.

Unity Input System Not Returning Correct Values For Htc Vive Touchpad Does anyone know why the above implementation wouldn't recognize the vive's primary button being pressed? also, is there any way to detect the menu button for vive players with unity's openxr?. If you encounter issues with this update, please post in the steamvr bug report forum. if possible, please include a system report to aid in tracking down your issue. have also liaised with unity to include the app menu button in their input demo. Steamvr Oculus Touch Controller Input Not Detected Questions I am trying to get my htc vive running with unity 2021.2.11f1. the position tracking of my headset and controllers generally work, but i have trouble getting the controllers inputs (button presses, touchpad). However, the controller stopped showing up in unity after i mucked around a bit with the steamvr input window in unity and the controller bindings. i couldn't see the controller model nor the pointers, so i was unable to interact with the button. I’m working on coding a gun for an fps for the htc vive, but i’m having trouble getting input. two days ago i coded the gun and it worked just fine, but the next day it wasn’t getting input at all. I was able to deploy the headset but encountered some challenges connecting the controller (joystick) for interactions from unity. i keep receiving a "missing input reference" error. The circle is the outline of the track pad and the red dots are the values that unity will return when you touch a given point. the square is the the region of the touchpad that return accurate values. When we tried to integrate valve's openvr plugin to unity we had the problem where the controllers gave no input. this is apparently a known issue. we then tried to integrate vive input utility on top of this and had the same issue (controller tracks but no inputs).
